Long Island is welcoming the coming of July with dancing, music and festivities to celebrate the upcoming July 4th holiday. Enjoy country western line dancing and disco dancing, music from the 70’s, the Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra, fireworks shows and much more! Check out the details below!

MONDAY – JULY 1, 2013

Who: Country Western Line Dancing At Hither Hills State Park
Info: Come out to enjoy country line dancing every Monday through August 12th at the park. The program is presented by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation.

Who: Ric Mango’s Magic Moments At Riverside Boulevard Beach
Info: As part of the Long Beach Free Summer Concert Series Ric Mango, a local music legend makes a one-night only return from retirement to perform a special tribute to the City.

TUESDAY – JULY 2, 2013

Who: Greenport Fourth Of July Carnival At Greenport Firehouse
Info: Come out to enjoy the annual summer carnival hosted by the Relief Hose Co. and Penix Hook & Ladder Co. There will be rides, games, food and fun for the entire family. The carnival continues to run through July 6. There’s a fireworks show at 10 p.m. on July 4 and 6.

Who: The Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra At Eisenhower Park

Info: Dance the night away with Long Island’s favorite disco bands. The Terri Hines band specializes in “old school” high energy 70’s classic disco/fund dance hits. 45rpm plays the songs that time forgot—until now!

Who:  The Mystery Of Irma Vep At Bay Street Theatre
