Holiday weekends are a great time to visit local shelters, and this week there are some very cute animals all ready to find their furever home. And if your lucky enough to bring Truesdale, Elijah, Sylvie, Ricky or any other pet home this weekend, remember to keep your pets safe from the dangers and sounds of the 4th of July! Click here for NCSPCA's tips on animal safety.
Now it is my pleasure to introduce you to one adorable dog named Truesdale. Just a puppy at 3 1/2 months old, this male corgi/shepherd mix is amazing! Truesdale is about 90% housebroken and even crate trained. He is described as being one of the most affectionate pooches out there with a a simply wonderful demeanor. For more information about adopting Truesdale, check out Sweetest Dog Rescue!
At Sweetest Dog Rescue, you can also meet Elijah. Look at those eyes!! Elijah is a very handsome catahoula leopard dog, just about 1 year old. He is high energy and needs to go into a home with another dog, as he can suffer from separation anxiety if left alone too long. Elijah is famous for the amount of love he has to give- he even loves to snuggle. For more information on making Elijah your new best friend, contact Sweetest Dog Rescue!
For the cat folks out there, I have the feline for you. Sylvie is a recent rescue from an industrial park who is currently residing at Last Hope Animal Rescue. Sylvie was born around March 2014 so it's time for her to find a furever home! The wonderful volunteers at Last Hope say Sylvie is one of the sweetest cats around, so better hurry and take her home today! For more information, check out her webpage.
Did someone ask for an adorable tiny Beagle mix? Weighing in at only 18 pounds, Ricky is a dream. This cute boy is available for adoption at Last Hope Animal Rescue and could quite possibly make the greatest canine companion! For more information, contact Last Hope.
Thanks for reading and please remember to always adopt - never shop!
