Could your purrfect new family member be waiting for you? The Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter is holding a “Summer of Love” Pet Adoption Program now through September 3. All pet adoption fees are waived and include free spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping. There are many dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens in need of homes.
Bow Wow Meow Luau on Saturday, July 15
The shelter will be holding a huge Bow Wow Meow Luau on-site adoption event on Saturday, July 15 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Meet and say “aloha” to some of the animals available while enjoying live music along with lots of vendors and food trucks.
