The Homicide Squad report the details of an incident that occurred on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11:43 am in Manorhaven.
According to detectives, officers responded to a residence located at 56 Kirkwood Road for two workmen that suffered injuries during the demolition of the home when a concrete wall collapsed on the two men.
A 56-year-old male victim was transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. The second victim, a 20-year-old male, suffered a cardiac arrest while being transported to the hospital and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
The investigation is ongoing.
