Kids (and some adults) cannot help but want to run through cool water to beat the heat. No one wants to overheat and Long Island has the perfect place where you and your family can go: sprinkler parks aka spray parks.
Sprinkler/spray parks have become increasingly popular over the past few years. Like playgrounds, there are places to climb and play, but while being sprayed with water. For small children, this might be an alternative to a pool if your child does not know or is afraid of swimming. Some spray parks are by local pools and visitors can enjoy both!
So check out a spray park this summer and keep cool!
