Crowbar-Wielding Duo Steals $90,000 Worth of Eyeglasses in Manhasset Robbery

The Sixth Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Saturday, July 15,
2023 at 5:13 pm in Manhasset.
 
According to detectives, (2) two male black subjects, entered Morganthal Frederics located at 2110 Northern Boulevard, both wielding a crowbar and removed approximately eighty pairs of assorted eyeglasses valued over $90,000.00 USC.
 
Both male subjects exited the location and entered a gray 2018, Subaru Forester operated by an unknown male driver. The three subjects then fled the scene south on Searingtown Road.
 
The first subject is described as a male black, 6 feet tall with a thin build.   He was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black pants and sneakers with a pink mask. The second subject is described as a male black with a heavy build.  He was wearing a green shirt, white shorts and gray sneakers, with a black mask. The subject operating the vehicle has an unknown description at this time.
 
No injuries were reported.
