Nassau County Police launch search for Jelise Mercado, a missing 14-year-old girl last seen leaving her Carle Place residence, urging the public to come forward with any information

The Missing Persons Squad reports the details of a Missing Juvenile that occurred on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 8:00 AM in Carle Place and was reported to Police on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 9:23 PM.
 
According to Detectives, Jelise Mercado, 14, was last seen leaving her residence located on Atlantic Avenue. She is described as a female Hispanic, 5’5’’ tall and weighing approximately 107 lbs. She has brown eyes and long black hair.
 
Her clothing description is unknown and her possible destination is Long Beach.
