The Nassau County police is investigating an Assault that occurred in Freeport on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10:14 pm.
According to detectives, Freeport police with the assistance of the Nassau County First Precinct police responded to disturbance that occurred at the Agua on the mile located at 379 Woodcleft Avenue.
Upon arrival, police observed a male victim laying on the floor near the entrance with a gunshot wound to his back. An investigation revealed that a second male victim was also found inside the bathroom with a gunshot to his groin. Both victims were transported to local area hospitals by Nassau County Police Ambulances and treated for their injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
