If you noticed your local Stop & Shop has a new look inside and out, you’re not imagining things.

Last year the grocery store announced it planned on upgrading its stores and rebranding with a new logo.

A statement from the grocery store said that Stop & Shop officially began using the new logo in Hartford, CT, where the brand remodeled 21 stores in the fall of 2018.

“The new logo is currently rolling out chainwide and is a nod to the brand’s past and its legacy of breaking new ground in convenience,” the statement reads.

Customers shouldn’t only expect a new look. In June the store said it planned to add as many as 390 additional jobs to its stores on Long Island. It plans to do so by beefing up staff at current locations to improve the shopping experience of its customers. There are currently 51 total Long Island stores, according to a representative of the company.

Additions to the stores include what they call frictionless checkout and more store brands like Nature’s Promise.
