Woman Arrested in Massage Parlor Raid

Suffolk County Police today arrested a woman for prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession during a massage parlor raid in Huntington Station this afternoon.
 
In response to numerous community complaints, Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers, in conjunction with the Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Building Department, conducted an investigation into Suny Spa, located at 825 East Jericho Turnpike, at approximately 3:20 p.m.
 
Jin Rong Wei, 53, of Flushing, was charged with two counts of Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a felony, two counts of Prostitution, and one count of Criminal Nuisance 2nd Degree, both misdemeanors.
 
The Town of Huntington issued multiple violations to the business. Wei was released on a Field Appearance Ticket and will appear at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
