The Halal Guide Food Festival is returning to Garden City on Saturday, August 5. The festival, now in its fifth year, will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. at Nassau Community College.
Come hungry to this family-friendly international food celebration featuring over 100 vendors serving food specialities from Pakistan, India, the Middle East, the Far East, Latin America, and the Caribbean.There will also be live performances, kids' entertainment, and a marketplace featuring clothing, jewelry, and other merchandise.
From biryani to BBQ to bubble tea, attendees can experience the delicious diversity of halal cuisine and support local businesses, such as Kababjees of Hicksville, Manny’s Sweet Treats of Mineola and Rockville Centre, Spice Hub of Syosset, Terry & Yaki (Japanese bowl truck), and many others.
