Port Jeff Station IHOP Renderings Presented to Brookhaven Town Planning Board
Renderings of the proposed IHOP at the former Wahlburgers restaurant spot at 4837 Nesconset Highway in Port Jefferson Station were presented to the Brookhaven Town Planning Board on July 24th bringing the plan one step closer to completion.
The property was developed as a restaurant site originally going through a number of different iterations. Back in 1968 the building was put up as an octagon restaurant building and in 1975 an addition was put on, according to the applicant’s representative at the board meeting. Many remember it as Driftwood Inn. It was also Eldorado Southern Bar & Grill and Road Trip American Ale House.
The application was placed on the decision calendar by the board.
