Cache Sports Lounge Shut Down After Suffolk County Police Cite Owner for Multiple Violations During Liquor Authority Compliance Check in Patchogue

Suffolk County Police today cited the owner of a restaurant during a New York State Liquor Authority compliance check in Patchogue.
 
In response to community complaints, Fifth Precinct Crime Section officers and representatives from the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal and New York State Liquor Authority conducted a compliance check at Cache Sports Lounge, located at 466B East Main St., at approximately 12 a.m.
 
Yoranny Guzman Veras, 34, of Bay Shore, the owner of the restaurant, was cited for failure to have a valid Place of Assembly Permit and reduced Fire Protection System under Brookhaven Town Code. Numerous other violations were issued by the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal and the New York State Liquor Authority.
 
The establishment was shut down pending compliance with said violations.
