Yet another deceased whale has been discovered stranded on the shores of Long Island, specifically in Atlantic Beach within Nassau County. The cause of death for the whale remains unknown at this time.

This incident marks the third occurrence of a whale washing up on the shores of the Tri-State region in a mere span of four days. During the weekend, a lifeless whale was found on the Jersey Shore. This lifeless creature was spotted by vigilant lifeguards off the coast of Long Branch on a Saturday afternoon.

Authorities from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection have reported that the deceased whale exhibited notable injuries to its head, indicating a possible collision with a watercraft.

Throughout this year, a considerable number of whales and dolphins have been discovered stranded on the beaches of both New York and New Jersey. Experts in the field suggest that many of these marine animals meet their demise due to collisions with ships or encountering debris.
