The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident that occurred at 1:52pm on Monday, August 14, 2023 in Greenvale.
According to Detectives, an eighty-year-old male was operating a white colored 2021 Jeep that was making a left turn into the parking lot of 81 Glen Cove Road when he was involved in a collision with a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle operated by a fifty-nine-year-old male who was traveling southbound on Glen Cove Road.
The fifty-nine-year-old male was transported by the Roslyn Rescue Fire Department to a local area hospital for treatment of his injuries and is listed in serious condition. The eighty-year-old male refused medical attention at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
