Major Case Bureau Busts North Massapequa Man in Multi-Substance Drug Sales Spree Across Nassau County

The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a North Massapequa man on Thursday, August 17, 2023 for multiple Criminal Sales of a Control Substance that occurred throughout Nassau County.
 
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives, an investigation was conducted that led to the arrest of Michael Ezzo, 46, of 23 Pembroke Drive. It was determined defendant Ezzo was also responsible for the criminal possession of sales on the following dates and location:
 
- The sale of Heroin, Fentanyl and Psilocybin Mushrooms on November 11, 2022 in Levittown
- The sale of Fentanyl and Psilocybin Mushrooms on November 12, 2022 in Levittown
- The sale of Heroin and Ketamine on December 3, 2022 in East Meadow
- The sale of Cocaine and Heroin on December 14, 2022 in East Meadow
- The sale of Fentanyl and Cocaine on December 29, 2022 in East Meadow
 
Subsequent to the investigation, detectives recovered 101 assorted oxycodone pills, a clear bag containing 11 grams of a white rocky substance believed to be crack cocaine, a clear bag containing 2.8 grams of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine, 162.5 assorted alprazolam pills, 30 acetaminophen and oxycodone, 2 amphetamine and  extroamphetamine and 5 suboxone buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual films, a bag containing a white powdery substance believed to be lidocaine and a bag containing a white powdery substance believed to be phenacetine.
 
Defendant Ezzo was arrested on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 9:40 p.m. in front of his residence. He is being charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, eight (8) counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, 14 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3 rd Degree, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, three (3) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree and four (4) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.
 
He was arraigned on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
