Suffolk County Police today arrested a Riverhead man for fatally shooting a man in East Patchogue last night.
Ines Reyes and Brent Henry were having a dispute when Henry shot Reyes in front of 616 Amsterdam Ave. Police responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired at approximately 6:30 p.m. and prior to arrival, Reyes, 23, of Bellport, was transported by friends to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue where he was pronounced dead.
Following an investigation by Homicide Squad detectives, Henry, 59, of Riverhead, was arrested and charged with Murder 2nd Degree. He will be held overnight and will be arraigned on August 20 at First District Court in Central Islip.
