In case you haven’t heard of the idea, a summer bucket list is basically a list of things you want to get around to before Summer 2013 “kicks the bucket”.
Summer is way too short not to make the most of it. Summertime and the living is easy. . . the long, lazy days of summer are here. Beach weather, watermelons, fruit-flavored sorbets, sand-between-your-toes, fireworks, barbecues, flip flops and bathing suits come to mind for most people when they think of summer. But life is busy and these days, many of us find ourselves wishing we’d made more time for our favorite fun-in-the-sun family activities: a picnic in the park, an outing to the local kid-friendly adventure center, catching lightning bugs in the backyard, or a night out at the outdoor movies. You know… the stuff memories are made of.
Remember that summer is about enjoying your kids, not "mandatory fun." Just breath, relax, and enjoy your family.
We have the antidote for the “woulda, coulda, shouldas”: the Summer Bucket List. If by some miracle you get around to all of this stuff before summer’s over, then you can always add to the list.
