Young Vandals' Afternoon Adventure: Arrested Teens Busted for Burglary and Graffiti at Historic Dowling College Campus

Two 14-year-old boys were arrested by Suffolk County Police for burglarizing an Oakdale building on the campus of the old Dowling College, leaving behind graffiti and a trail that led to their apprehension.

Suffolk County Police today arrested two teens for burglarizing an Oakdale building this afternoon.

Fifth Precinct Patrol officers responded to a 911 call about youths vandalizing a building with spray  paint on the campus of the old Dowling College, located at 150 Idle Hour Blvd. at 4:25 p.m. The suspects, who left the scene prior to police arrival, were located a short distance from the campus and placed under arrest. A backpack containing spray paint and a proceed from the burglary was recovered.

Fifth Squad detectives responded and charged the two 14-year-old males with Burglary 3rd Degree, and Making Graffiti as Juvenile Delinquents. They were released to a parent and issued a Family Court Appearance Ticket.
