Ready for the start of the Labor Day holiday weekend? There’s plenty of entertainment on Long Island to enjoy. Find everything from music concerts featuring artists like Motley Crue and Alice Cooper, soul legend Booker T, Fantasia to other artists paying tribute to The Beatles. There’s also a lighthouse event for those sailing the water, an arts and crafts festival, and the annual Hampton Classic Horse Show going on.  Check out all the hot spots on Long Island here!

FRIDAY – AUGUST 29, 2014
Who: Motley Crue And Alice Cooper At Nikon At Jones Beach Theater
Info: Come out to enjoy this American heavy metal band! They are out for The Final Tour, after more than three decades of headbanging, heavy metal music.

Who: 1964 – The Tribute At NYCB Theatre At Westbury
Info:  Go on a musical journey to a nostalgic era in rock history. In an authentic and endearing tribute, the group recreates live Beatles’ concerts from 1964, with period clothing, hairstyles, and onstage banter. 1964 marks the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ historic Carnegie Hall appearance.

Who: Booker T At The Suffolk Theater
Info: Soul legend Booker T brings his sound to stage as a solo act. In the 60s, Booker T was the house band to sessions with Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and Staples Singers. He continues to bring innovative music reinterpreting artists, including Outkast and more.

Who: Huntington Lighthouse Music Fest
