The state of New York will be implementing new license plates and wants your opinion on what it should be. There are five different designs for New Yorkers to vote from and the design with the most votes will be the new license plate of the state. However, the state wants you to pay for these new plates.
These new plates will replace the white and blue design that is over 10 years old. Once the new license plates arrive, New Yorkers with old plates will have to pay a fee of $25 to replace the old plate with the newly designed plate. The state claims all the fees for the new plates will go to highway, road, and bridge programs.
