Long Island Lighthouse Series

Written by lighthouses  |  03. September 2006

Long Island is home to some of the most beautiful lighthouses in the world. Since Long Island is an island, the lighthouses played a vital role in lighting the way for many ships and protecting our shores. Today, the remaining lighthouses stand proud with each one telling a story to reveal a bit of Long Island History. You can click on images to view information on each lighthouse.
