Oyster Bay September 11th Memorial Ceremony 

Thursday, September 8 at TOBAY Beach -  7:00 p.m. 

 

The remembrance ceremony will feature music, religious readings, a tribute, and a reading of the names inscribed on the Town’s 9/11 “Walls of Honor.” For more information, visit the Town’s website or contact the Town’s Department of Community & Youth Services at (516) 797-7925.


 

Point Lookout Sunrise Memorial

Sunday, September 11 - 7:30 a.m.

Town Park Point Lookout, 1300 Lido Blvd., Point Lookout

 

Sunrise memorial on the beach. Ceremony will honor the victims, as well as the heroic first responders and rescue workers, and military who went to war in the aftermath of the attacks.

 

Farmingdale 9-11 Healing Service

Sunday, September 11- 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Farmingdale United Methodist Church, 407 Main Street, Farmingdale 

 

Healing Service commemorating the 21st anniversary of 9/11, followed by ribbon tying on the Memorial Tree dedicated to Lt. Christopher P. Sullivan, FDNY, who led Nursery School children in fire safety. Call (631) 884-0149 for additional information.

Tuesday's Children 2022 Rise Up and Remember: VIRTUAL 9/11 5K

The Manhasset-based organization Tuesday’s Children helps provide a lifetime of healing for families who have been forever changed by terrorism, military conflict or mass violence.
