Hockey season is almost here and the New York Islanders are getting ready to pay tribute to some deserving Long Islanders. The team is looking for local military heroes to honor at home games during the 2019-2020 season as part of the Military Hero of the Game Program. The program recognizes military men and women who actively serve or have served our country. Every hero will receive special in-game recognition as well as four VIP tickets to the game.
