Jamboozi Festival
Next Sunday, September 29th, you won't want to miss the Jamboozi Festival at the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport - it's sure to be a day packed with great music, fun, and more!
Featuring live painting and live music overlooking the Long Island Sound, the Jamboozi Festival is one of the most unique music/art-infused events to come to Long Island this Fall.
Tickets are only $15 for adults, $5 for kids 12 & under, and admission is free for kids 5 and under!

The 24th Annual Greenport Maritime Festival
Head out to Greenport This Weekend, Sept 20th-22nd for Fabulous Fun!
Ahoy! The 24th annual Greenport Maritime Festival kicks off the weekend of Sept. 20th with the arrival of the Tall Ships on Friday. Visitors can tour these marvelous vessels throughout the weekend. The Maritime Festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors from the tristate area. From an old fashioned hometown parade, to family-friendly Pirate Show and crafts, to wonderful shopping provided by our local merchants and visiting artisan/craft vendors, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the Festival. You may even cruise to "Bug Light", our very own lighthouse! So join us in celebrating our rich maritime history, unique to the East End of Long Island. Looking forward to seeing you there matie!

As the summer comes to an end, many attractions on Long Island will be closing up for the season - but not to worry, we can help you make sure you visit all of your favorite hot spots just one last time before the season ends! Many attraction are outdoors and the facilities are unusable in the colder weather, which is right around the corner. So, in the next few weeks, be sure to take the opportunity to stop by these locations on the Island, and make the most out of the fading warm weather that we've been enjoying all September long. 24th Annual Greenport Maritime Festival
Are you a boat lover? Head on down to the 24th Annual Greenport Maritime Festival this weekend, Friday, September 20th, through Sunday, September 22nd! This fun weekend will feature an old fashioned hometown parade, a family-friendly Pirate Show and crafts, and wonderful shopping provided by local merchants and visiting artisan/craft vendors! The festival is free and will be held in Greenport Village. Don’t miss this fantastic weekend of maritime fun!
Pet Parade to Benefit SCCADV
Calling all pet lovers! Come down to the Pet Parade to Benefit SCCADV this Saturday, September 21st, from 9AM-12PM. Admission is $10 and all money will go towards the Suffolk County Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The parade will include prizes, costume contest, goody bags, vendors and more! The parade will start at the Congregational Church of Patchogue. Head down for a fun morning for a good cause!
Fighting 4 TJ Memorial Poker Run
Head down to the Elks Lodge this Saturday, September 21st from 9AM-3PM for the Fighting 4 TJ Memorial Poker Run! The event will begin at the Lodge in Riverhead where you can pick up your first card and start your journey of picking up cards and enjoying complimentary refreshments. Finish off the run back at the Elk’s Lodge with a BBQ, raffle, and much more! Admission is $20 The Fighting 4 TJ Memorial was established at first to help defer the cost of cancer care while he fought against stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. Sadly he lost that battle on September 3rd and the event has become a memorial being held in his honor along with a Run to pay for expenses incurred while being hospitalized for the last 9 days of his life. Don’t miss the chance to help out this family!
2013 Long Island Heart Walk
Head down to Jones Beach this Sunday, September 22nd, for the Long Island Heart Walk! Registration and donation turn in will begin at 8:30 AM and the Walk will begin at 10:00 AM. There is a $10 minimum donation, check out the website to see their goal! Come walk with family and friends to show your support for this great cause!
