FRIDAY – SEPTEMBER 27, 2013

Who: Long Island Fair At Old Bethpage Village Restoration
Info: The Long Island Fair is back for another weekend! Enjoy farm animals, brass band concerts, traditional music, wagon rides, pony rides, flowers, crafts and much more.

Who: NHL Preseason – The Islanders Host The Nashville Predators
Info: Enjoy a preseason National Hockey League matchup game between the New York Islanders and the Nashville Predators.

Who: Les Miserables At Theatre Three
Info: It tells the story set back in 1815 of Jean Valjean, a man condemned to 19 years of hard labor for stealing a loaf of bread to feed his family. Following release on parole, he only finds hatred and suspicion. He seeks to begin a new life. It’s a story of love, courage and redemption.

Who: Fall Festival On Lake Ronkonkoma
Info: This festival is presented by the Lake Ronkonkoma Civic Organization. Come by for food, shopping, games, rides, a petting zoo, fishing clinic and other great entertainment on the Lake. The rain date for this festival is Sept. 29.

Who: Archangel Michael Church Greek Festival On The Harbor At North Hempstead Beach Park
Info: It’s Long Island’s largest Greek festival! Enjoy authentic Greek food and pastries, live Greek music and dancing, games, rides and a marketplace with jewelry, gifts, art, wine and beer and much more! There’s also a fireworks show this evening! The event continues until Sept. 29.
Cost: Free Admission

Who: Long Island Craft Beer & Oyster Festival
Info:  This is the first of Croxley’s Ale House & Eatery’s annual Long Island Craft Beer & Oyster Fest. It’ll feature live music from Hat Trick. The fest is also complete with Long Island craft beer, Blue Point oysters and oyster shooters. The rain date is Sept. 29.

Who: Annual Merrick Fall Festival & Street Fair

Who: Long Island Apple Festival At Sherwood Jayne Farm
Info: It’s apple picking season! Enjoy a festival with old fashioned games, traditional music, sheep shearing, kids apple crafts, fresh pressed apple cider, face painting and hayrides. Also, take part in the apple pie baking contest and enjoy cooking demonstrations. A tour of the farm and free apple are included with admission.
Cost: $7 For Adults, $5 For Children 2 to 12 and Seniors

Who: Eddie Money At Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre
Info: Eddie Money is a rock guitarist, saxophonist and singer/songwriter offering rock n’ roll music that transcends through generations. Somee of his hits include “Baby Hold On” and “Two Tickets to Paradise.” Money performance is part of the “Cruise to the Show” event.
