The Public Information Office reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident that occurred on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 3:00 PM in East Garden City.
According to Detectives, a male, 42, while operating a 2018 Toyota Tundra was exiting a parking lot in the vicinity of Commercial Avenue and turning southbound onto Quentin Roosevelt Boulevard. He collided with a male bicyclist, 56, who was traveling northbound on Quentin Roosevelt Boulevard. As a result of the collision, the bicyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment. The operator of the vehicle remained at scene. No other injuries were reported.
