Take a jump to the left and a step to the right and head on over to The Suffolk Theater in Riverhead to watch a free big-screen viewing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Friday, October 25.
The campy 1975 musical comedy horror movie classic starring Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf will show at 8 p.m., but doors and the bar and restaurant open at 6:30 p.m. See all your favorites…Brad, Janet, Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Rocky and more, more, more.
Seating for this event is general admission, unassigned table seating and there is a $20 food and beverage minimum per person. The theater has an extensive menu including stylish alcohol and coffee drinks, snacks and appetizers and entrees with everything from lobster rolls and smoked bbq rib tips to miso-glazed Atlantic-salmon.
All the props for the proper viewing experience
Of course if you are attending a Rocky Horror Picture Show viewing, participation is part of the fun. The theater will be selling props bags so that everyone can join in. A standard prop bags will be available for purchase for $10, or you can buy the $20 Deluxe Prop Bag which includes all the props, plus a Glow Cup good for one free fill up of a soft drink or beer on tap. No outside props are allowed.
