E-Bike Tragedy Strikes South Farmingdale: Detectives Unravel Fatal Collision Between Cyclist and Jeep Grand Cherokee
The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred at 3:44pm on Friday, October 13, 2023 in South Farmingdale.
According to Detectives, the male victim, 44, was operating an electric bike travelling east bound on Reese Place when at the intersection of Merritts Road he was involved in a collision with a black colored 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by a fifty-five-year-old female driver.
The male victim cyclist suffered severe trauma injuries and was pronounced at the scene by Nassau County Police Medics. The female driver remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
