Beyond Monet: The Immersive Experience is now open at Samanea New York in Westbury. Using cutting-edge technology, the digital art installation transports visitors into the world of Claude Monet, bringing to life over 400 of Monet's masterpieces, including "Water Lilies," "Impression, Sunrise," and "Poppies." The exhibit is scheduled to run through January 2, 2024.
The Largest Immersive Experience in the Country
Occupying over 50,000 square feet on the second floor of the mall, Beyond Monet is the largest immersive experience in the country. Visitors can stroll around the massive space viewing images of Monet's paintings projected onto walls and floors, accompanied by original music, sound effects, and scenography. Guests feel as if they are walking through Monet's paintings, surrounded by his vibrant colors and brushstrokes. The multisensory exhibit was created by French-Canadian creative director Mathieu St-Arnaud and his team at Montreal’s Normal Studio.
Beyond Monet, presented by Paquin Entertainment Group, is “redefining what art means to people,” says Paquin Entertainment Group’s President of Exhibitions and Theatrical, Justin Paquin. “It has elevated artwork to the next level, allowing us to form new relationships with notable masterpieces that were just not possible in previous years.”
"When you stand inside Beyond Monet, you truly feel like you are part of Monet's passionate quest for the effervescent beauty of the world" says Beyond Monet Art Historian Fanny Curtat. "Experiences like these create fresh and original perspectives, allowing us to form new relationships with notable masterpieces in dynamic and fascinating ways."
