The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Brooklyn female for an Assault that occurred on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in North Lawrence. 
 
According to Detectives, Officers responded to the Five Towns Motor Inn located at 655 Rockaway Turnpike for a female refusing to leave a transporter van that was providing rides to and from John F. Kennedy International Airport. Upon arrival, Officers located defendant Frances Hierro, 52, of 1413 New York Avenue sitting inside of the van with an open bath robe
exposing herself, acting erratic and refusing to comply with Officers. Two Officers sustained injuries as the defendant became increasingly violent and combative. Officers utilized their Electronic Control Device (ECD), taser and defendant Hierro was placed under arrest. Both Officers and defendant Hierro were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment and evaluation.
 
Defendant Hierro is being charged with two counts of Assault 2 nd degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2 nd degree, Criminal Mischief 4 th degree and Public Lewdness. She will be arraigned on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
