Gone in Seconds: Armed Robber Strikes West Hempstead Cleaners, Authorities on the Hunt
The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred Monday, October 23, 2023 at 4:46 pm in West Hempstead. According to Robbery Squad Detectives, an unknown male subject entered the Millennium Dry Cleaners, located at 323 Hempstead Turnpike. The subject walked behind the counter and displayed a handgun while demanding cash. The victim complied and the subject fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of US currency.
There were 2 employees and no customers present inside the location at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
The subject is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 5’10”-5’11” tall, wearing a black hoodie and black mask.
