Suffolk County Police Investigate Murder at Water Mill Resort
Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the murder of a woman whose body was found today in a guest room at a Water Mill resort.
Southampton Town Police responded to Shou Sugi Ban House, located at 337 Montauk Highway, at 12:30 p.m. after a staff member found a woman deceased in a guest room. It was determined the woman was a victim of violence.
The woman has not yet been identified by police and her cause of death will be determined following an autopsy by personnel from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
