Repeat Offender Nabbed: Lindenhurst Man Arrested for Grand Larceny After Fleeing Stolen Mercedes at Bethpage Auto Shop!

The Eighth Squad reports the arrest of a Lindenhurst man for a Grand Larceny
that occurred on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 8:25 am in Bethpage.
 
According to detectives, Craig Bilozur, 34, of 356 Granada Parkway, entered a
2007 Grey Mercedes Benz at Andy’s Auto Repair, located at 400 Hicksville Road and
fled the scene. An employee from the shop searched for the vehicle and observed it
parked on the side of Hicksville Road near the intersection of Edward Street.
 
Defendant Craig Bilozur had fled from the vehicle on foot and was located by police
a short time later near the intersection of Prairie Path and Farm Ranch Road East.
He was then placed under arrest without incident.
 
Defendant Craig Bilozur is charged with Grand Larceny 3 rd Degree, Criminal
Possession of Stolen Property 3 rd Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4 th
Degree and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle 3 rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Friday,
November 17, 2023 in First District Court, located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
Defendant Craig Bilozur was previously arrested on Wednesday, November
15, 2023 in Farmingdale for Grand Larceny 4 th Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen
Property 4 th Degree, Attempted Petit Larceny, Possession of Burglars Tools and
Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle 3 rd Degree. He was issued an appearance ticket
returnable on Thursday, November 30, 2023 and released.
