Large Vehicular Disturbance in East Garden City Leads to Arrest and Multiple Summonses

The Public Information Office reports the details of a large vehicular disturbance that occurred on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 9:37 p.m. in East Garden City.
 
Third Precinct Officers, while on routine patrol, discovered a large-scale illegal vehicle rally and possible street takeover in the vicinity of 711 Stewart Avenue. Nassau County Police Department Bureau of Special Operations, Aviation Unit, CIRRT (Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team), and Emergency Service Unit all responded to the scene. Thirty-one summonses were issued, two vehicles were impounded and one arrest was made.
 
Defendant Daniel Tiburcio, 25, of 3627 Hunt Road, Wantagh is charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument and Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He will be arraigned on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
