FRIDAY – NOVEMBER 22, 2013

Who: The Led Zeppelin Experience – Hammer Of The Gods
Info: Enjoy a live performance by Hammer of the Gods for the ultimate Led Zeppelin experience.

Who: Hofstra University’s Department Of Drama And Dance – Fall Dance Concert
Info: This program is presented by Hofstra University’s Department of Drama and Dance and features faculty choreographers and guest artists.

Who: Harvest Gospel Concert Series – Holiday Music Event At Southampton Cultural Center
Info: The concert series is presented by East End Arts. A choir with over 70 people will perform offering an eclectic mix of gospel music.

SATURDAY – NOVEMBER 23, 2013

Who: Massapequa Park Turkey Trot
Info: This 5K turkey trot starts at Lake Shore Drive and continues north until Walker Street. The turkey trot then continues turning left into Mansfield Park and continues south on the bike path. It officially ends at Brady Park where there is an awards ceremony and raffle.
Cost: $25 For Advance Purchase, $30 Race Day, $15 For Youths

Who: Annual Thanksgiving Native American Feast At Garvies Point Museum And Preserve
Info: For more than 25 years celebration of northeastern Native American culture has taken place the weekend before Thanksgiving. Enjoy a weekend of hands-on activities, including pottery-making, primitive fire-building and on-site cooking. There will also be authentic Native American cuisine, artifacts and tool technology on display.
Cost: $5

Who: The Fantastic Toy Shop At Ballet Long Island
Info:  Enjoy a ballet performance that tells the story of a toy maker who created dancing dolls. His creations include a tarrentella doll, giant deck of cards, Russian dolls, ballerina dolls, dancing poodle dolls and a pair of can-can dolls.

Who: Film: “Two Family House” At Cinema Arts Centre
Info: Enjoy a screening of “Two Family House” by Raymond De Felitta over a bagel brunch. This gentle romantic drama is about a blue-collar Italian American in 1956 whose dream of renovating a two family house is complicated by prejudice, pressure to conform, and the need to evict a spunky Irish single mother.

Who: The Toys Take Over Christmas At Arena Players Repertory Theatre
Info: Rekindle the spirit of giving and sharing and bask in the joy of the holidays with this performance. As the Christmas season approaches, the Toymaker's magic has brought all of his creations to life, but he greedily wants to keep the toys for himself. The toys want to be presents so badly that they stage a rebellion and call upon the audience for help and support.
