The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred between
Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 4:00pm and Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 9:30
am in Hewlett.
 
According to Detectives, Fourth Precinct officers responded to the Hewlett
Animal Hospital located at 1225 Broadway for a Commercial Burglary. Upon police
arrival it was determined that an unknown person had damaged the rear door and
entered the business. Further investigation revealed that an undetermined amount of
US currency and assorted animal flea and tick medications had been removed by the
unknown suspect. There is no further description of the suspect who left in an
unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing.
