The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 10:15 pm in Woodmere.
 
According to Detectives, Officers responded to a house fire on Mosher Avenue. Upon arrival, Officers observed flames emanating from the rear of the residence. The building occupants were all evacuated safely. The Woodmere Fire Department along with several additional Fire Departments responded to extinguish the fire. Two firefighters suffered injuries but refused medical treatment. No other injuries were reported. The building sustained moderate structural damage along with variant degrees of smoke, fire, and water damage throughout the building.
 
The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad Detectives
responded to scene.
 
The cause of the fire is undetermined and is deemed not suspicious at this time.
