Manhasset Man Arrested for Assault Following Violent Incident at Pond Hill Residence

The Sixth Squad reports the arrest of a Manhasset man for Assault that occurred on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 9:15 am in Manhasset.
 
According to Detectives, Sixth Precinct officers responded to a Pond Hill residence for an Assault. Upon arrival, police determined that the defendant, Carlos Mullings, 53, of Manhasset, did have a verbal argument with a 30-year-old female victim that escalated in him punching the victim in the jaw causing pain and then using an unknown sharp object and stabbed the victims upper left arm causing a puncture wound.
 
A Nassau County Police Ambulance transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of her injury. The defendant, Carlos Mullings, was placed into police custody without incident.
 
Defendant Mullings is charged with Assault 2 nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. He will be arraigned on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
