The passport provides access to 178 state parks, as well as 55 Department of Environmental Conservation forest preserve areas, featuring a diverse geography of ocean beaches, mountains and lakes. Park patrons can enjoy a variety of amenities including boat launches, arboretums, and preserves. And, you can bring as many friends as you car’s passenger capacity permits.
The 2013 Empire Passport will be accepted from now until March 31, 2014.
Customers are limited to three passports per customer, and order must be placed online. Orders made in person or by phone will be charged the full regular price $65, but if that is the most convenient option for you, you can stop by any New York State Parks regional office, or by calling 518-474-0458 during normal business hours.
