Suffolk County Police arrested a woman for stabbing her mother to death in Dix Hills.

 

Second Precinct officers responded to 2 Carman Court on November 27 at 9:08 p.m. after a 911 caller reported a stabbing victim at the location. When officers arrived, they discovered a resident, Josephine Bekatoros, 84, stabbed to death.

 

Homicide Squad detectives located Bekatoros’ daughter, Diana Bekatoros, 51, at her home, located in Long Island City, and charged her with Murder 2nd Degree.

 

Bekatoros will be arraigned on November 28 at First District Court in Central Islip.

 

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
