Chabad of Merrick-Bellmore-Wantagh is set to host its 17th Annual Unite Through Light Chanukah Grand Menorah Lighting on Thursday, December 7, at 6 p.m. at the Merrick LIRR gazebo. All are welcome to attend this family-friendly event that will commemorate the eight-day wintertime festival of lights as the Chabad community expresses solidarity with their “brothers and sisters in Israel.”

Gather at the gazebo for the lighting of the 12-foot menorah and stay for dignity greetings, a live DJ, dancing, doughnuts, hot latkes, balloon twisting, a performance by the Chabad Hebrew School, and meet and greets with Dreidelman. The event is free but there’s a suggested donation of $18 per family. RSVP online at the Chabad of Merrick-Bellmore-Wantagh website. The Merrick LIRR gazebo is located at the corner of Merrick Avenue and Sunrise Highway in Merrick.
