Long Islanders requiring assistance related to Superstorm Sandy damages and recovery have until Tuesday evening, Dec. 4, to visit FEMA’s Disaster Recovery Centers.
There are four DRCs in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, where residents can complete applications for federal assistance, receive answers to questions or clarification for any written correspondences, or to check the status of any application. Local residents can also visit any of the DRCs throughout New York.
