The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 6:04 pm in Garden City Park.
According to Detectives, a 75-year-old female pedestrian was crossing Marcus Avenue eastbound at Pubins Lane when she was struck by a 2020 Jeep Wrangler being operated by a 26-year-old female.
The victim was then struck by a second vehicle, a 2008 Honda Civic being operated by a 23-year-old male.
As a result of the collisions, the female pedestrian suffered severe trauma and was pronounced at scene by the Garden City Fire Department.
Both drivers remained at scene. No other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
