Grand Opening Today: Tap Room Unveils New Nassau County Location in Jericho, Promising Local Flavor and Community Spirit

Written by Long Island  |  14. December 2023

The popular Tap Room chain is set to expand its presence on Long Island with a new establishment in Nassau County.

Located at 1 Jericho Turnpike in Jericho, this latest addition is situated just a mile north of the NYCB Theatre at Westbury and is scheduled to open its doors today Thursday, Dec. 14. Although this site, with its 4,500 square feet area, is one of the Tap Room's more compact venues, it promises to maintain the brand's signature offerings.

Customers can look forward to enjoying the familiar Tap Room experience, complete with their celebrated weekend brunches featuring unlimited mimosas and engaging trivia nights every Wednesday.

This new location stands as a beacon of local entrepreneurship amidst the predominance of larger chain establishments in the surrounding mall area, aiming to become a beloved community gathering place.

The Tap Room's journey began in 2011 with its first location on West Main Street in Patchogue, founded by Bonanno and Dave Johnson. Over the years, they have expanded to include five other locations in Patchogue, Bay Shore, Massapequa Park, Rockville Centre, and most recently in Farmingdale, which opened in December 2022.

Further expansion plans are underway, including a promising new site at the Station Yards, part of Ronkonkoma's new mixed-use development near the LIRR station.
