Bring the kids down to the Caleb Smith State Park Preserve this Saturday, December 28th for Cave Encounters! Explore as a family, the world of the animals that live in the darkness of caves. Jack Frost the Musical
Stay in the holiday spirit even after Christmas by enjoying the children’s music tale, Jack Frost. The tale is presented by Plaza Theatrical Productions and will be held at the Huntington Library this Sunday, December 29th at 3:00 PM. All Hands-On Deck at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
Head to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum this weekend to enjoy some arts, crafts and experiments for the whole family to enjoy! Drop by the Discovery Deck in the Exploreum to participate in fun and educational themed experiments including sea, space, air and life at sea. These activities are no extra charge; price is included with admission to the museum. Saturday’s activities will be held from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM and Sunday’s from 2:00-4:00 PM.
Candlelight Tour of the Pagan-Fletcher Restoration
Enjoy a candlelight tour of the Pagan-Fletcher Restoration in Valley Stream this Sunday, December 29th. The tour will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM and is free to attend. We are asking tour participants to please bring a canned food item that will be donated to local pantries to help those in need this winter.
