The Eighth Squad reports the arrest of a Hempstead woman on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 12:05 AM for multiple Grand Larcenies that occurred in Bethpage.
 
According to Detectives, defendant Kumarie Nazir, 55 of 8 Sunnyside Avenue
was employed as a Nurses Aid for The Bristol Assisted Living, located at 1075
Stewart Avenue. On the following dates, defendant Kumari Nazir did remove multiple
pieces of jewelry belonging to the patients she was assigned to care for;

Monday, October 21 st , 2024
Wednesday, October 23 rd , 2024
 
Following an investigation, defendant Kumarie Nazir was placed under arrest without incident.
 
Defendant Kumarie Nazir is charged with three counts of Grand Larceny 3 rd degree, one count of Grand Larceny 4 th degree and four counts of Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent Physically Disabled Person 1 st degree. She will be arraigned on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
