Asharoken Beach is a 535 feet stretch of beach on Northport Bay with views of the unique coastal homes on the Village of Asharoken’s strip. It is one of three beaches in the Northport area. Popular activities at Asharoken are kayaking, canoeing, motor boating and sailing. The beach offers a single-lane, hard-surfaced boat ramp for small boats only for those interested. Asharoken Beach is the perfect place to spend the day picnicking and relaxing with family and friends. Asharoken Beach is open from late May to early September year-round from 8:30am to 8pm. Lifeguards are on watch from 10am to 6pm. First-aid stations are on premises as are restrooms and outdoor showers. It is open to residents who wish to purchase seasonal or daily passes for a discounted and to non-residents at a slightly higher rate.
