Built on the scenic Long Island North Fork bluffs, this golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. in 1966. It is a privately owned, 18-hole championship layout consisting of luxuriously manicured, fast, medium-size greens and open fairways. Golfers also enjoy elevated tees and beautiful views of the Sound. At 6,900 yards from the longest tees, the course offers a fair but difficult challenge to players of all skill levels. The par value is 71. Challenging water hazards and sand bunkers are everywhere. The club includes a driving range, Pro shop, restaurant, full bar and snack bar. Over the years, this property has experienced several name changes and a major restoration in 2007 by Hurdzan-Fry. Today, Baiting Hollow Club is proud of its casual elegance. Inspired by the majestic North Fork estates, a new 25,000 square foot clubhouse was added in 2009. Credit cards are accepted.
