Sitting on the southwest corner of Nassau County, this 9-hole public golf course plays 1,956 yards from its longest tees and has a par value of 30. The course rating is also 30 and the slope is 110. This is a great course for beginners, but it can also challenge more experienced players. It is an excellent place to practice your short game and it is also an unusually good value for the money. Two of the holes are over 300 yards in length. Bay Park opened in 1956 as a design of David W. Gordon. A practice green and chipping area are included on the property. Cart rentals are available. The course is open from March to December, seven days a week as long as the weather permits.
